Wow looks like I missed all the resort changes and then back again, being a grown up stinks doesn't it

And yuuummmmm funnel cake, OMG I love funnel cake Wish we had it here!

Oh and the Wave was my least favourite restaurant during my training trip, just didn't like the food

Right now they are doing all the rewiring in the kitchen, which means I'm without power...the plumber has to finish, he's sopposed to do that tonight, then they drywall, then the floors.
They're trying really hard to have it done before we leave.

I could tell you how to make them at home..it's called Indian Fry Bread and you just deep fry them......I'd go make some now but I don't have a kitchen.

I tried really hard to wait another week before I start .....but I can't wait.... So, 2 weeks from now I'll be on my way to the airport Since we're about 2 hours away we always go the night before if it's an early flight.

I'll also be stressing because this is the first time Evan's had this much responsibility and he's driving. I'll be asking for some prayers.
I also know that Ethan will cry when we leave.

The first ever just D.Jay and I trip alone Ethan was about 4. He cried when we left and then I cried the entire 3 hour drive to seattle. Poor D.Jay , I think he was tempted to leave me at the rest stop.

I moped all that evening too. Around 8 we called to say goodnight to the kids and I was told that after crying for about 2 nano seconds, just enough to make me feel like the worst mom on earth, he went back to playing and was perfectly fine.

I know he'll be ok, but he's still my baby and this is the boy who cries when we go on vacation and leave the dogs home.
Kinda puts things in perspective.


Oh...today was a good day for the ups man....he got a very enthusiastic response when he delivered 4 packages to me.
My disney orders , some books for school, and another package from Old Navy were all delivered at once.

and the contractors "think" they will have the kitchen done before we leave. I'm hoping they do, but I won't be surprised if it isn't done. They've ran into all sorts of fun stuff....like rewiring the entire half of the house.

It's been a good day.

heaven know what else she would do...

I think the contractors know not to take her word for something, regarless of what she says. So, if things go as planned...haha....they will be starting on the new bathroom in the basement...not too much can be messed up there.

my form of packing is in piles in my bedroom. I wish I had room to pull out the suitcases now, but theres no where except on my bed. So, I have piles and sticky notes all over my room.

About 30 minutes ago d.Jay left with Hunter to take him to the er. Hunter fell and whacked his shin on his beds metal frame. He was crying like I've never seen him and couldn't put any walk on it.

I should know better by now not to proclaim a good day, untill the day is over.
