We are staying on Disney property for a couple of day, but not doing the parks, we're planning on doing the free stuff we missed last time. Monorail, campfire, relaxing in at the resort, ect.

If this is your first time at Universal, make sure you allow two days to see everything in both parks. Don't try to rush through it in a single day.

Yes it is our first time at US. We were just at Disney in October for 2 weeks and our teen wanted to go over to US but we didnt get the time to. So this trip we are going. We plan on going to US at least 2-3 days and sea world for 1-2 days. We will also be staying one night in Cocoa Beach so our girls can see, play and enjoy the ocean.

This trip is a let's go to Florida and do/go where ever we want kinda trip. No real planning,just keeping it on the cheap side and enjoy.

We are planning on getting the dining plan one day and trying it out while at US. (I'll let everyone know if we thought it was worth it.)

We are shortening our WDW stay by a day and will be staying at the Portofino Jun 17 - Jun 18. We were going to just visit for one day and purchase the Express Pass, but we got a great APH of $204 and will be staying 1 night to take adavantage of the UNLIMITED Express Pass.

We love the UO hotels and the Portofino is our hands down favorite. After 10 nights at Pop Century and using Fast Pass, we'll feel like celebrities at the Portofino and using the Express Passes.

Quick follow-up. We decided to stay for 2 nights at the end of our Orlando vacation. I *think* we're more excited about our Universal stay than Disney, but don't tell the mouse that piece of information. We're going to have a great time at Disney, but the 3 days at Universal are going to be completely different and SO relaxing.

so if youve seen my day in the life..etc thread, you know im a current Universal employee and ive noticed alot of you are going on vacation very soon! if you are going to Islands of adventure please post in this thread with the day your visiting and lets see if i can keep an eye out for you and maybe give you a hello!

*as of now, I am still a Seuss Attendant until Weds. after that I go on vacation for a week and then become a Discovery Center/Camp Jurassic Attendant*

oh no ignore me - I just see that your original post was in April!! - I hope you had a good weeks vacation - and perhaps we might see you in the discovery centre - we hope to be in IOA on Tuesday!!

There will be 5 of us - me (amy), dh (Steve), my mom (jan), my DS4 (kai) and DS9mths(lucas) - you will probably hear my son's loud British voice and spot his bright red 'ginger' hair!! (Oh and he will more than likely be wearing an entire spiderman wardrobe - down to the sunglasses and socks knowing him!! )
