I am bit confused (what's new, right??) Do you have to sign up for the new promo?? I am going in December, and I had thought it was just a "random acts" sorta thing. then someone on these boards made a fleeting referrance to "signing up" on the website. If anybody knows for sure (I am sure somebody here does!), could you please give me the scoop including and the name of the website in case I do have to sign up! Thanks a bunch!!!

I was at a TA today who called disney for me regarding this. Get this - the Disney rep said she didn't know about it. It's on their official site for cryingout loud. I jsut said thanks and offered to e-mail the TA the link. She said if I did that she could look into it more. I e-mailed the one from this site and the official site the minute I got home so we'll have to see what she comes up with. I'll pass along anything I learn.

I booked our trip for Feb 2007 on Wed. of last week. They told me to call back on July 19th and they should have more information on packages available then. I am planning on calling then and see if I find anymore information at that time. (crossing my fingers)

No, you do not have to sign up for anything. It is going to be Disney's new "celebration" and will be replacing the 50th Anniversary Celebration that has been running for 1 1/2 years at Disney Parks.
It sounds quite good.....But I Want to Hear More !!

When we were there 2 weeks ago, they were filming around the parks, especially Magic Kingdom. They said it was going to be for a new commercial to air soon. One of the places they filmed was at the train station at the entrance-Belle was in her yellow gown and the CM that was with her said they were doing the commercial so watch for it soon.

When the Press Releases Came Out too they were very legitmate and official with Corporate Disney Sites, Disney News and Headline News Stations also....
They change "Themes" or whatever you call them every year and ahalf or so......HOW FUN !!
I can't wait to read all about it !!

I just called yesterday and was told mid Aug. They like to keep us on our toes...lol

Does anyone know if, for those of us who really don't want to wait until August to book, we book now and there is some great deal that comes up is there anyway to get it? or do we just have to take some xanax and wait till something comes out?

You can book a base package now and than as more package options are announced you can upgrade. Also, if any specials or discounts become available, if there is space at your resort, your TA can convert the reservation again,
