When will this Christmas stuff be over with?

I like Christmas as much as the next person but it's really hard getting through the board with all the Christmas threads. Trees, decorations, cookies, family gatherings, egg nog, fruit cake .......... When will it be over ?

It's just a lot to scroll through to find anything else. It's like every other thread is about Christmas trees or Christmas carols. I just can't imagine it being like that for another month.

It does get a little overbearing at times. The Christmas music will stop the evening of December 25th, but the post Christmas sales will become the hot topic for all the crazies and the decorations (well, most of them) will be down by the second week in January. Then it will all start up again right after Labor Day.

I would guess about December 26.

Try maybe Jan 2 or 3. After Christmas, they will be talking about who got what.. and "i can't believe i got this"... or "i am returning this.." or "when will you take your Christmas tree down"... or "what i didn't get for Xmas"... or how about their Holidays with their in-laws rant... Then there's your after Christmas sales!!

And then there's your NYE!! They will be talking about where.. and what to bring.. and what will you be doing.. and then they will be talking about what have you done in 2006 and what will you do in 2007... what is your new resolution....

CEDmom.. sorry.. but it might be a while.. just hang in there..
