When will they finalize April park hours?

So it looks like there are morning EMH EVERY DAY for the week that we're there (Apr 9-14th)...I guess "rope drop" is only for on-site guests during the busiest weeks of the year. Of course, I already have FPs for MK on Thurs the 13th and a Brunch ADR at Chef Mickey's and I don't want to make changes.

Only saving grace...they kept the MK EMH on Weds night - I doubt any of those folks will want to get up early the next morning. And with the 8 am open the park should (hopefully) still be fairly dead that early. Still, it's disappointing to lose the magic of rope drop and being one of the first guests on the ride.

Considering the rates Disney charges for even "value" on-site resorts, they're going to have to keep sticking to the offsite people.
You and I are in the exact same boat! I'm staying off site, and 4/13 was my MK day too. I picked it because it was the only day without a morning EMH. Already have my BOG lunch ADR and all my FPs scheduled (including 7DMT), so I won't be switching things up now. Thanks for pointing out the evening EMH the night before. That should help lighten the morning crowd some!

I dont see any changes the week of 4/1 to 4/8. Hoping that means they are not expecting ginormous crowds. One can hope...lol

Any ideas as to what bag check and security will be like between 7 and 8 at MK? Should it flow ok given everyone gets in and is not held outside?

I am nervous given the 30+ Minute times posters reported this last week.

I can try to go bagless, but I am not sure how comfortable I will feel with my phone jammed into my pocket.

If you can go bagless you always should. It's so much easier.

As far as bag check..we go quite a bit and have never seen lines go so slow that it would take someone 30+ min to get through it. Usually times to get through back check are about 1-10 min.

hey us too! brunch at Chef Mickeys 1150 on 4/13 :) I thought it would be so fun to take the monorail over since we aren't staying onsite and wouldn't be riding it otherwise.

good to know. we have to carry epipens so I can't go bagless this trip and it was stressing me out.

With EMH 7am-8am...we'll be there on the 13th too!

Just wanted to let you all know that more FPs opened up for 7DMT due to the extended hours. There is lots of availability as people switch their times around. @Queen of the WDW Scene was able to get AM FP for her party of 10. I was able to move mine from 8:30 PM to 8:55 AM. Check now if you still need 7DMT FPs.

Thank you for letting me know about the more FP opened up. We will be there from 4/8~4/14 and kind of struggling because of weird timing of 7DMT FP. Now, I moved it to more desired time!
