We have reservations for WISHES cruise. If it rains,do they cancel. How hard does it have to rain?

If there are thunderstorms and lighting they will probably cancel have wishes. I have seen it when it is raining.

We just got back. It was pouring the morning of our cruise, so I called to find out when/how they decide to cancel and I was told they only cancel if there's lighting or dangersous weather. THankfully it stopped raining and the sky started clearing just in time for our cruise. I can't say enough good things about it, it was wonderful!

We went last year and did the other cruise for Epcot. They said lightning is the only thing that would cancel it not rain. We did see a flash of lightning in a far distane as we pulled out and the driver joked what a big picture flash. LOL, she said if she calls it lightning we had to go back. It never rained and no more lighning the ramainder of the night too.

Where did your cruise leave from and was there music piped in on the boat?

Not sure about wishes, but I assume it's the same at all the parks. When we were there last year in june, it poured! and a big thunder storm, and the epcot fireworks still went. It was neat watching in a t-storm as it added a little bit more effect to the show! hehe... Before the show I asked if they were going to cancel, and they said they have never canceled the fireworks due to rain/t-storms. They said the show had only been canceld on 2 occaisions at that time. 1 was hurricane andrew, and the other was 9/11. Now you can add the hurricanes from last year to the list of reasons why the fireworks have not gone off... @ epcot anyway....

This is true with Illuminations. However, they will on a rare occasion postpone the show but no because of the rain. If there is severe lightning they post pone the show for the safety of the guests. I have on more than one occasion watched Illuminations in the rain with only a handful of people left in the park, it great. No amount of rain will ever cancel Illuminations, the show will run rain or shine unless there is severe rain.

Our boat picked us up from Ft. Wilderness since we did the Hoop-Dee-Doo Review first. It was wonderful. Unfortunately the music was not piped in to the boat, but it was still awesome to see. I'd go back in a heartbeat and do it all over again!! It was incredible!
