"While I appreciate my time in the parks experiencing every Attraction, one of my favorites is always the guided tours. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the likes of the "Discover Disneyland", the "Walk in Walt's Footsteps", the "Discover the Dream"., the "Cultivating with Disney", the "Discover the Adventure" Tours. They used to also do Mahaloween at Trader Sam's, Breakfast on the Jungle Cruise, etc. Those were all were some of my favorite esperiences.

I believe before the pandemic, that the only tours left are Walking In Walt's Footsteps and the Grand Circle Tour (ride in Lilly Belle).
There is no note as to when they will return, but they are still listed on the website.

I think they may also had a Christmas tour, but I no longer see it on the site, but I could be mixing up WDW.

The only tour that is running currently is the VIP tour.

They also used to do a tour of Carthay at opening. I always loved that one.

There was a shortlived tour in DCA called something like Walt Disney's California Story that was great. It was kind of a WIWF in DCA and included a visit to 1901 (just to walk through, see the "shadow" etc before it was open).

Yep, did that one as well. Going to do a write-up on it eventually.

Never got to do the Grand Circle tour. Have spend some time in the LB, but would love a different take on things.

It’s not the same as a tour, but if you get Genie+ you get access to Audio Tales in the app. They’re little history/info audio tracks you can listen to at various points in the park. Kind of like some of the audio bits you would listen to on the Walt’s Footsteps tour. You can walk around the park and give yourself a “tour” listening to them all.

When I spoke with a CM (by phone), they had no clue as to when the tours would resume. There's been no rumblings on their end.

One of the influencers I follow on Instagram just posted that a tour will be opening this fall called Walt’s Main Street Tour (or something like that) 🥳

I think I saw GS CM’s training for that tour today. The lead tour guide was “in character” presenting about Walt’s hometown, Marceline.

I remember your Jungle Cruise special event report was.... Amazing. Thanks for sharing. No doubt demand is there, so they will find a way eventually to bring in some new ones.

Also, glad you are returning for another trip. :thumbsup2

I loved the Holiday Tour! Especially the first few years I did it, when you got a giant Mickey gingerbread cookie & holiday travel mug of cocoa plus rides on 3 attractions (Haunted Mansion, train, Small World), ending with special seating for the parade. Later tours weren't as good, partly because I already knew all the interesting things they tell you but also because they scaled back what you got. It was still very enjoyable and I hope they bring it back.

My dd and I went to the HM 50th party after hours and that was a lot of fun. I would love it if they brought back more tours and special events.
