When will Southwest fares be out for 3/2007?

I already have my resort booked and I'm hoping for pin code to show up on that. I'm now waiting for Southwest to come out with airfare for March. We
have flown Continental all other times we've been to WDW. The prices are outrageous! I'm wandering about the post pertaining to booking one way
and then waiting for Southwest to drop prices, then booking return flight
and getting credit towards that flight. Is that the best way to go??? :confused3

I'm really confused... :confused3 are the dates (schedules) for SWA that are released specific to certain itineraries? I am trying to look at dates for Jan. and they appear not to be released yet. Yet it is within the 6 mo. period that some talk of? I'm sorry, I'm so overwhelmed with vacation planning details and maybe just missing the boat. I'm really anxious to find some good fares as well. I guess I'll just keep checking back!

Southwest is currently booking through jan 9th in the next week or so I would assume a bigger window will be open! If you got their websire goto reservations and scroll down to where you would enter your dates just below in fine black print you will see the booking through date if this helps! But I would assume it will not be that long from now for them to open up more dates! It does seem though that recently they have not been releasing dates until 5 months out I do agree with the other poster on that aspect.

I Feel the same way! Only I have a longer wait we're going from April4th thru 10th were visting the mouse house for Easter!

Back again everyone! Oh my I have a bit of a swollen head! Thanks gang for being so nice to me :cool1:

YES it is worth booking one way as soon as it comes out. That way you are sure to get a seat! I did this and 1st price was $124

NOW watch often -- I look many times a day & week. You might find this GREAT news but within 2 (yes TWO) hours it dropped to $94

THEN two weeks later it dropped to $59.
SO we saved $65 per person so far.

SO fast forward to the return flight .... currently coming up as $145.
Subtract the $65 CREDIT I have and that makes it only $80.

Therefore giving me a RETURN cost of $139 person. Not bad eh?

Now of course there is still the possibility that there will be a ding or that the return price will drop, but I will NOT book it until it gets down to the wire or I have no hair left on my head. :scared:

I guess my biggest fear would be that I wouldn't be able to get a return
flight on my time frame I needed. We would be flying out of Hobby.
Their flights tend to book up pretty fast at this location. Just very nervous,
I want everything to go smoothly. worried:

If you think you'll be flying again within the following year, then go ahead and book each way. If Dings come out for either/both, just rebook and use the credits towards your next trip. This way, you'll have your flights booked. That's what makes SWA so great! It makes for a lot less stress if you don't have to worry about losing money! :thumbsup2

Does SW only offer credits, I thought I read soemwhere that they would credit your credit card? I have not seen that lately.
