When will soft openings start for Pandora???

One of them is a boat ride, I'm assuming similar to Pirates ish. The other is kind of like Soarin on crack, from what I have read.

Question. We are staying on property, checking into YC on 8/23 and have AK planned for 8/25. If I get our fp right at the time they open 60 days before, is my chance of getting one of the rides in Pandora a possibility? OR will they all be gone to people who plan them 10 days out and book at the end of their vacations?

No one can really answer this given that no one can book Pandora FPs yet.

40 million Americans just say a detailed commercial for Pandora with Opening May 27, 2017. There is no turning back, Pandora will open on May 27. If Disney screws this up, it is going to be one of the worst PR disasters they can imagine.

Frozen ever after fast passes went live exactly 30 days out. Fast passes May 21, ride opened June 21st

I would guess they'll do the same for Pandora as to give offsite guests a chance to get a FP as well instead of them all being gone by onsite guests more than 30 days in advance

But why hold them just to give offsite people "a fair shot?" It's not like they can generally get FEA or even SDMT at times. Honestly... I hope they open by at least 31 days to give on site guests an advantage.

Yes, I know no one can book fp for Pandora yet but was wondering on past new ride openings, how hard were those fp to get.

Usually people with AP's will visit numerous times within the year, so I think people staying onsite should have priority.

Based on 7DMT and FEA you can. We got both without issue at 60 days. Granted, the most we look for are 4. Bigger parties may have problems, no idea.

We will be down the second week of May. Wish they would open up the area. I really just would love to see it - even if we do not get to ride any of the rides.

we're there the 13th-21st are DVC and will possibly be AP holders. I'm hoping for some sort of sneek peek. I remember being there before EE opened they gave DVC members the ability to ride before it was opened but we missed that opportunity. Guess we'll have to wait and see

Not similar in length though. Expect something similar to Frozen in length.

I remember being at a MNSSHP October 29th ish 2012 before the official opening date of Fantasyland which was Dec 6 2012 and we were able to walk around, go into the beast castle to look (they had ropes up to look into the dining room) under the sea was open we rode it as was gaston tavern. Maybe the soft opening will possibly be longer where you can walk around the area and getting on a ride would be hit or miss???? You are talking about an entire land opening up not just a ride I think more than a week to preview it would be more suitable than just a couple of days and or a week before..

I was at MK when they first opened the construction door to ETWB only letting about 50 people go in, then they escorted us all out and later allowed other people, it was very random.
I also took place in the Star Tours 2.0 Watch and new Spaceship Earth.

DL pirates is longer than WDW. However the Pandora ride will be in the 5 minute range.

Fantasyland was opened in phases so it's not as clear cut.
