When will POFQ be back?

I am planning my next trip for June, 2004. We stayed at POFQ last June and wanted to stay there again our next trip. Any idea when it will be up and running again?

I would love to know myself. We were booked there this June and we will now be staying at AKL, but I would love to stay there next June.

The renovation has already started at Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter Resort. Once renovation is in full swing, which is estimated to be early May, the resort will be completely closed for an extended period of time (probably 2 years).

Multi-million dollar room renovation that will include all new furniture, new carpeting and wall coverings and a remodeling of the bathrooms. There is another post running from people just back from POR and what they have seen going on. ~~

I called and talked to someone in Guest Communications about what I should expect at POR in November. Her comment was that maybe POFQ would reopen by then and I wouldn't have to worry.
