When will November 2020 official park hours be posted ?

I'm taking a bit of a leap here, but...

The last rumors I read were that initially, MK, HS, and AK would reopen, but Epcot would remain closed until later phases of the reopening. Hours would be reduced and no evening performances (fireworks, etc) would run.

Just looking at ADR availability for the parks, I think we can infer that the current plan is for MK, HS, and AK to close at ~6pm with no evening performances, since no HEA/Fant/RoL packages are available. Epcot's currently the outlier, in that some restaurants have availability beyond 6pm and the R&C dining package is still available, but not all restaurants have availability after 6pm. It could be that some restaurants there are reflecting the reduced hours/availability, and others are not. If Epcot isn't even open come November, it's all moot anyway.

What's the benefit of cancelling the evening performances? I did find SciFi Cafe having a post 6PM appt but yea, there's literally nothing but Epcot. I think it's all speculation at this point. I was told by WDW Help Desk that the only reason why the calendar is outdated is due to lack of staffing but that doesn't make too much sense giving the important and how is that a manual process.

The benefit would be keeping people from congregating shoulder to shoulder by the thousands ... and to save money.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think Disney is just scheduling November for the "worst case" scenario, and they'd rather add more hours/ADRs/performances as things improve than take them away if things don't.

I had no issues booking any ADRs from Oct 21-25. I just think people aren't working to fully update November yet

I booked my ADR's for Nov with no hours. Definitely takes some of the fun out of it not knowing if I'm gonna have to change them....

How did you book them. My reservation time is today and the dates are blocked off. November 2-9 i am going

I'm in the same boat with my ability to book ADRs opening up next Wednesday. WDW has conditioned many of us to book and plan this far out that it seems uncomfortable to come in to a reservation window and not know what's happening. My family and I like to plan our days around parks that are open the latest, so it's inevitable I'll need to redo some of my reservations. I know that there's a lot of work going on to prepare for the short term, and I don't fault them for focusing on that. However, there are lots of families with trips coming up at the end of the year who are now flying blind when it comes to planning their trips. I think they should put in measures to help guests and possibly prevent us from making ADRs if there's no schedule posted for the day.

You’re just a bit too early. Reservations open at 6 a.m. ET online. Good luck!
Yes i was early. I was able to get my 2 reservations in. I only make 2 which is good enough.

My window starts today and I can’t book. Won’t let you book past 11/4.

I just checked the calendar is out to Nov 7th. are you not able to find ADRs? I have heard that ADRs are in short supply.
When I look, I don't see anything on the calendar for November except Disney Springs.

MK, AK, & HS still have no dining reservations available past 6pm. I don't believe this is because they are in short supply - later reservations have not been available at all, to anyone, as far as I can tell. It was actually not too hard for me to get reservations for November - it was just impossible to get anything past 6pm anywhere except resorts or Epcot.

Certainly something unusual is going on.

Yep, after I posted. I noticed the same thing. It looks like dinner is limited to 4-6pm in the parks except Epcot.

I'm glad this was noticed now as my window for ADRs is opening on Wednesday. With Epcot being the only park with availability beyond 6pm to me points that Food and Wine still being on for the Fall and they're hoping most will go there for the evening. It seems like they haven't made decisions on the other parks yet. I could see MK being held at 6pm baring the decision/schedule for MVMCP. It's much easier for them to expand hours than reduce them.

Anyone have any other insight into why Park hours have not been posted for November yet? We have our window opening but no hours yet.

My only thought is that everyone in operations is focused on the short term and getting the parks back open. I started a chat with a WDW cast member on their site and asked if guests within the reservation window would get notifications of when hours were posted and they said no. We'll just need to keep checking. My ADR window opened today and it's crazy how few choices there are. I am hoping that hours are expanded a little once announced officially.

The insight would be that there is a once-in-a-century pandemic going on, and the company’s resources are likely directed to the short term and figuring out when they can even open again, let alone plan schedules for months and months and months down the road.

That’s not to minimize your vacation but ... everyone is literally trying to take it day by day. There’s no game plan for how to respond to this.

I get that...and that has been a ongoing issue...just curious why they abruptly stopped in November....they had been dutifully updating the calendar for September and October

I think because they had already released Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party dates, so they knew to what the hours would be through October and had to commit to keeping them for now for those guests who bought tickets to the party. Without the release of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party dates, it allows them to modify hours if they want to.
