When will next Disney promo start?

Since the fall promo ended on 9/18, when might Disney release the next promo?

No one knows. Could be any day now. In the past it was first week of October. But disney seems to be trying to cut back on discounts.

Un educated personal opinion, we might see a play stay and dine in early October. But that is a random guess.

I'd laugh at the definitive-ness of this, if the MDE site hadn't been acting wonky for the last 3 days. MDE usually craps out a few days before a big release.

:-). I was being silly. I thought I'd post "tomorrow morning" every day until I was right :-). Though, my conversations with DRC over the weekend made me almost sure it'll be this week. The usual "do not know" and "next few weeks" stock answers were replaced by a seemingly knowledgable CM with "I'd keep checking", "any day now" which then switched to "any time". She agreed that it is not like them to have their special offer page so empty for too long.

I could be wrong, but many general public offers seem to appear later in the week, or at least not on a Mon.
I am hoping I'll be calling CRO soon. Now, though, it's a waiting game. :)

I was looking at the release dates of deals on the Mousesavers site. I found some were released on tuesday and wednesday, but a greater amount were a Disney Visa release on Thursday, followed by the GP release the following Monday. Then I realized that I'm overly obsessing over this :-) They've been doing some odd things lately, so it's anyones guess….

They haven't done Visa releases the last few promos, so I think the Tues/Wed time frames seem more likely.

ETA For misinformation, sorry for the confusion.

I agree, i wish they would take it down……..and put something else in it's place :-)

Watching the thread. Looking for some good news in the next couple of weeks.

It has been reported by **************.net that deals are coming MONDAY

Last year I started a thread where we determined how the discount worked http://www.disboards.com/threads/stay-play-dine-calculation.3339097/
Until this goes live on the website I can't dissect it BUT I can tell you it definitely isnt' as good as the SPD last year. At a VERY ROUGH Glance It looks like maybe 50% off on dining with no other discount OR 5% off Room and 40% off dining.
Regardless...The discount from what I can see is definitely worse than last year and for those on the fence of a room only OR SPD discount in past years the better deal this year may be room only however YMMV depending on how you choose to dine.

BREAKING NEWS (for all of you discount nerds out there!)

I believe I have cracked the code on the SPD Discount for Moderate Resorts - here it is!

TICKETS: No Discount (no surprise there);
ROOM: $1.00 Off Rack Rate per night (no that isn't a joke!);
DINING: Adult #1 = 55% OFF Dining Plan; Person 2-5 = 45% OFF Dining Plan (regardless of adult or child).

There is no price break when changing or upgrading Tickets or when changing or upgrading the dining plan. See here for more details...http://www.disboards.com/threads/2016-stay-play-dine-calculation-thread.3451389/

If I can get motivated I'll look at how it works at values and deluxe too!
