When will National coupons for 2006 be coming out?

I know this past spring someone on the DIS was nice enough to post a link to a National car rental coupon good for a free day or $15/$20 off. Have any of these come out yet for 2006? The only ones I can find expire either 12/15/05 or 12/31/05. I want to book for my next rental in May 2006, but also want to help a friend book hers for early February 2006.

unless they change the website further, now when you click on the link for those national offers on entertainment.com, the link takes you directly to a reservation page with codes inserted, but there is nowhere to print the "coupons" off

thus, no hard copy you can present to the booth

even though the reservations will say coupon accepted, you still will need to have the coupon in hand according to national reservations 800#

Well, they are in the entertainment book. it never made sense to me that they were giving them away "free" online.

a question on this-- I am using a coupon/offer through the visa website:

it shows on the confirmation as a coupon, but there is no physical coupon. I followed the directions to the letter....

that is the same thing that has been happening with the entertainment site too....

now instead of going to a "template" page when you click on "get discount" ( which happens when you use the alamo discounts ...which puts you to a page which can be printed out ) a national reservation screen shows up with the contract id and coupon code already entered....if you continue to make the reservation ....you get "discount coupon accepted" but no place to print out a physical coupon which national says you have to have in hand to give to the check out booth...

have talked to both entertainment and national web services but have not heard anything back.....


with the visa website, you do seem to get a page which i think could ge printed out and used when you click on your link......it brings up the offer detail .....which should be sufficient

When I tried to price a car through this link it turned out to be at least $50 more than when I went direct to National's website without a coupon!!

Just be careful....these are not always as good a deal as they appear.

mine was higher until I changed the contract ID After that, I was pleased with the price, LOL
