When will my Magicbands arrive?

We are a little over a month out from our trip. Just wondering when our Magicbands will arrive in the mail?

Also, since we have the bands, will we still need to "check-in" at the front desk of our resort when we get there?

On the MagicBand page there should be a customize by date. If you customized them and have a US mailing address, you should receive them shortly after that date.

Also, since we have the bands, will we still need to "check-in" at the front desk of our resort when we get there?

If you are a US Resident, you can skip the front desk if you follow a few steps:
Customize your MagicBands and have them mailed to you
Add a CC and set PIN during on-line check-in
Provide a Cell # or email during on-line check-in to receive room ready notification

You will get an email that they've shipped them a couple of days after your last day to customize them. They should arrive a few days after that shipping email. My last day to customize my band was on Monday. Still waiting on the email that they've shipped.

It seems that the bands are shipped out of Memphis. You should get an email telling you data has been transmitted. I only takes a day or so to personalze the bands. The longest wait is transport. We live in the suburbs of Memphis and received ours on Monday with a Friday final customization date.
