That stinks.Closing last night at MK was a cluster. People were POURING out of the park and transportation was awful. Buses for every resort were coming one about every 25 minutes. Two women on our bus got into a shouting match. Buses were PACKED, because of all the people still there. Shame on you, Disney.

I don't know. Buses normally come one after the other at closing. Not last night. A couple people (incl me) even remarked on how it isn't normally like that. That stinks.
What could account for buses being that infrequent??
Someone in another thread just reported that the wait time for FOP at 10:30 PM tonight is 210 minutes. Sigh... What a fair trade off. Close MK 1-2 hours early in exchange for two rides at AK. By my observation, the wait time of FOP during EMH is actually longer than the typical wait time for FOP in the middle of the afternoon.
So if you got in line at 10:30 with a wait time of 210 minutes; you would be getting on the ride at 2:00 AM, 2 hours after EMH ended!!!
If Disney cut off the line before midnight, people don't get the full 2 hours of EMH. If they don't it could be 3:00 or 3:30 before people are done riding. Bet the CM's and bus drivers love that.
What a cluster****; but hey the 3rd quarter numbers will look great.
I'd love to know the reason for the summer 10 pm close. Can't be Pandora, last summer AK was open till 11 every night and MK regularly closed at 12. I know because we were there 8/13-21 last year.

All of the parks closing at basically the same timeThat stinks.

The 24th-26th? That changed a few weeks ago.I'm going next week and just checked - a few nights are extended to 11pm at MK with EMH till 1am next Wed. It's something!

It's weird.The 24th-26th? That changed a few weeks ago.
So they close MK early which drives guests to AK EMH (where they have only two rides open). Then they inflate the ride times to discourage guests from riding them? What sort of guest satisfaction strategy is that?Keep in mind that posted wait times near park closing are grossly inflated. Across WDW.
Touring Plans has accurate waits. Users reported ~100 min waits at and after 10pm. WDW posted 210 mins at that same time, they do this solely to discourage people from getting into line.

Like 100 min is really any better? I've been at mk many times at closing and the waits are usually pretty close until 5 min before closing.Keep in mind that posted wait times near park closing are grossly inflated. Across WDW.
