When will July hours be updated?

Hmmmm....we are there from 7/25-8/1. Hoping that the tweaking of hours continues!

I kept hoping for better news, but it looks like we will be having a lot of early nights. July 6-10, no park is open past 10pm

I'll be there next week also and haven't given up on them adding an extra hour to MK some days-I'll be checking WDWToday first thing each AM!

We're there starting tomorrow. I'm hoping for some additional PM hours being added while in the park. That happened for our trip last year as well.

Check your calendars. MK in July just got updated to 11pm close for my day (26th). 1am with EMH.

Yesterday it showed 11:00 on the app.?

It shows as 11pm in my itinerary on the website with EMH from 11-1am.

I don't know if those types of hours are ever coming back.

June MK's hours are the lowest they've been in three years. About 70 hours less than June 2014.

That is quite a difference. How much less was it was two year's ago? I would suspect that for this year they're trying to pull people to Pandora and the EMH there are affecting the other park's EMH, but that wouldn't take into account all 3 years.
I thought the 4th would like last year's hours. But if they're declining, it is what is. Hopefully there will be a last minute change or very low crowds for that time. Whatever it is, we'll make do.

The TA calendar is not correct (or at least not updated all the way). I can see 11:00 pm closings on the app but not on the calendar?

June 1-30th 2012 - 426 Included hours + 35 EMH= 461 (Wow, EMH)
June 1-30th 2013 - 431 Included hours + 13 EMH = 444
June 1-30th 2014 - 461 Included hours + 11 EMH = 472

I've been monitoring recently because of the new Pandora rides and trying to get an early gauge on what we might be up against in Aug, and crowds have seemed much lower than I expected... if that's right, perhaps they are anticipating the same for Jul-Aug and won't change until the very last minute if they see a need.

It has happened to us in recent years that hours get extended while we're on our trip...

No doubt-won't surprise me at all if they add an hour to Magic Kingdom some days next week the "day of".

We arrived July 6 and check out tomorrow. MK has stayed with its 10pm closes throughout the week. Having been here and lived through it, it sure would have been pleasant to have some more night hours. Crowds have been heavy and afternoons have been hot and steamy. It gets really nice around 8pm. Tonight is the only evening EMH of the whole week and MK was nuts all day. To top it off, heavy rains are forecast tonight and many outdoor rides were down this afternoon due to lightning. The result was 170 minutes for Space, 95 minutes for POTC, 80 minutes for HM, 85 minutes to meet Mickey... you get the idea. Not staying open later is just stubborn.

I think there is a lot of pent up demand for night hours. My kids stuck around MK tonight but I surrendered. All in all, I have had a great week but I probably won't come again in July. And I DEFINITELY won't stay at Pop Century again in July. The sheer numbers of the tour groups are more than I care to deal with. I'll spend my Disney money more judiciously.

No, but they had a problem at the Poly because their display board showed MK open until 11 on a night they closed at 10. My guess they had some unhappy guests,

We just returned from 10 days in the world, and hours were not extended for parks on any of our days. In the past, we often got an extra hour when rain shut everything down earlier and crowds justified extended hours, but nothing this year. We shut down a park every night, and they were all still packed. MK closing at 10pm was crazy. We shopped our way out the last night and heard the 'kiss goodnight' at least three times. At 11pm (a full hour after the official close and 2 hrs after the fireworks) crowds were still pouring out. The monorail line was at least 4 trains deep and ferry and monorails were all running full. Crowds certainly would have justified the 11-midnight closings of years past.
