When will I need to book by?

I want to rent points for a 2br VWL for the 1st or 2nd week in November....
I'm not ready to book yet...waiting to make sure DH can take time off of work...my ? is - how late do you think I can book and still get a 2br? Do I have a chance at 7 months out? Do I have a chance at 4 months out?

My advice is to book as soon as you can to ensure getting what you want. If you wait until the 7 month window, you are taking a chance. Most owners aren't too crazy about using waitlists for renters - why tie up your points hoping it will come through when there are so many other opportunites to rent without using the waitlist?

Definitely book BEFORE the 7 month window opens up. I hope you aren't thinking of Thanksgiving week, because it might already be too late for that.

There are lots of activities going on during that time frame:
The first and second week in Nov are popular because ofNJ Week (all NJ schools are out for the NJEA convention), also there are a lot of schools in the NE that have the Nov 6 & 7th off (7th is election day), and then there is the a Veteran's Day holiday (10th will be an day off for most folks who get Veteran's Day off--though the actual holiday is the 11th).

Also in November is the F& W festival. And, some folks like to try to work it so they can also take in MNSSHP (select dates in October) with some of the above days off.

Lastly, I think Super Soap weekend is in Nov...

I would not wait too long to get a reservation....

Oh geez....that was why i was thinking nov...we have the 6th and 7th off... Does anyone know if this is going to coincide with Jersey week this year?

... I know a lot of folks might have either M/Tu or Th/Fri off--take the whole week off around those days off so that they can have a whole week at WDW and minimize the number of days the kids miss from school...
