When will I know if my contract was approved?

I sent off my contract, paperwork etc, and check to DVC. My "host" is off this week. I sent them back on Tuesday. How long will it take to know that my financing was approved by Disney? I put down 25%. Has anyone ever been turned down?

I believe that the paperwork actually goes to accounting and then your guide is contacted. I received a call from someone in accounting when I needed to send an additional piece of information to them for my contract. I haven't heard of many not being approved and if you put down 25% already then I would think that it would be soon that you hear. I think it was about a week or two for mine. I was in a similar situation as well. Once DVC received the paperwork, I gave them ~ 5 business days. When I called in to check, I found out my guide was out on vacation for another week. I then asked to speak to another guide (I think it was his backup). He was able to tell me that I was approved and the letter was sent the day before.

I was a happy camper !!!

We got ours back within about 1 week. We did ours onsite, so you may give or take a few days for mail. Congratulations on your purchase

Congrats!! I think it takes 2 weeks(from the time you receive the paperwork) -- I would just call and ask to speak with another guide who is taking their phone calls--

Basically if you hear from them they need information or something else to get the approval finalized. So no news is good news. You can call member accounting and they can tell you before you receive the final letter. Give them about 5 business days.

I went through this process recently. I contacted Quality Assurance at 800-782-6767; these are the people who actually receive & process your paperwork. Call them first thing tomorrow morning and they should be able to give you a status.

remember you are in the system so you can start calling MS and book or bank or get your ID's for the web sight .

What about if you buy resale? How long does it take once you mail in your paperwork???
