I bought an AP and am wondering when rates for NOV. will be out. they should be out by now right? Why so late?

They are priobably just waiting for the hype from free dining to calm down. Be patient!

It has been said time and time again, but there is never a guarantee of AP rates being released at any time of year. Some people end up in "black hole" windows in which no rates are offered. At other times, the rates are only available for certain resorts. With travel returning what it was pre-9/11, Disney isn't discounting quite as much as they have in recent years, as the rooms are being booked regardless. With that said, good luck, and maybe it will work out for you. If not, don't fret, as the AP is still a pretty good buy, even without AP rates. :thumbsup2

I would watch for them around the end of August (based on other years of offers for the November time period) :thumbsup2

I still have hope that there will be good AP deals later this year - hope some good ones come out for you!

Thanks, I hope I did not make a mistake buying this. I am anxious to see if I can really save. Looking for a deal in Nov.

Sorry to say but you shouldn't buy the AP in the hopes of getting a room discount. While it is possible, it is still just as possible that you won't get a discount too. They may not offer them, limit the resorts that the discount is avail, the dates and so on. It should be bought for admission.

With that said in 2003 rates for Nov came out at the end of August.
2004 was the same
2005 was the same

So you have a good almost 2 months left to wait.

Agree. Exactly my point.

Also if you'll remember last year for the Nov-Dec time frame they came out with the Best Rate Plan for AP holders and because it had to be booked at least so far out some people going in Nov missed out. Then they changed the time it had to be booked to a time much closer, but by then those people had missed it again (falling into what people called the black hole). It didn't seem fair as if the booking time had originally been what the new booking time was those people would have made it. Anyway there's no guarantee WDW won't do the same type thing again.

I was lucky by the way with my dates (early Dec) and was able to get POFQ and CSR for like $79.00/night. Maybe the OP will get lucky too.

I had an AP pass, and they did NOT release any discounts for the week in June that our family had to take vacation this year. I was extremely disappointed that I had to pay DOUBLE, yes double the rate at WL lodge for a standard view room, when I usually got (past 6 years!) a woods view for half the cost!!!!! So, now I am using AAA and I am waiting to see if they improve their AP discount offers before I get another one. I personally hope they come out with some type of seasonal offers that are consistently released for passholders, the way that AAA does it. We would come back more than once per year and spend our money on dining and merchandise. It was so expensive for this trip, that I am unable to plan another one for quite a while, and I may start going to the moderate resorts. Not that there's anything bad about the moderates! I've stayed at CBR and POFQ, and loved them, but I prefer WL and the other deluxe resorts now. :tinker:

Does anyone know what previous AP October Deluxe and Moderate rates have been.

Should I go ahead and book Swan with a GOV type rate for four (4) adults and parking or wait for a Mod or Del AP rate at any Disney Resort?

Does anyone know what the 2 extra adults would cost and the parking? When they quote you a rate does it include tax?
