When will DLP be available to book for christmas using points?

Hi,

We bought OKW last October and can't use our banked 2007 points for a trip to WDW, so we want to use them for our planned christmas trip to DLParis, as it will save us £800/ $1500 over paying cash.

Disney have been selling the christmas season direct for over 10 days, but when I rang MS they say they haven't had any allocation for points, and don't know when they will get it!

My major concern is that when I rang for a quote from Disney I was told that I had better book fast, ie the next couple of days, or I wouldn't be able to get a booking as it would be sold out! I don't know if this is true or not, but really don't want to risk it. So I don't know what to do, if I place a cash reservation and I get a dvc booking I can't get my deposit back, but if I don't book I might not get a points reservation either, so no christmas trip for the kids!

Does anyone know when dvc get the christmas allocation from Disney for Paris?

No one really knows, as DLP isn't fully controlled/owned by Disney. It just depends upon what is negotiated between DVC and DLP.

I knew they were seperate, I just didn't realise that I was going to be at a disadvantage trying to make a christmas booking using my points.
