When will Destination D tickets finally go on sale?

We already have our hotel for the Destination D event and everything else in place, but the tickets for the event have read, available this summer since it was announced! Summer started June 21st and the event is less than 3 months away... [if you can sell next year's Expo tickets on Aug 19th a year in advance, what is the holdup? Hopefully they go on sale before the Expo ones do] Don't mean to worry about it, but can't help wondering if I will have everything in place and not get tickets, or get tickets and it simply is not that great which is why they've waited so long to put tickets on sale...

I'm sure it will be awesome, but boy they are taxing my patience...

amen..this is driving me nuts too. I check every day and nothing..They will probably announce sell date or go on sale July 17, I bet..but we really need to know now

Thanks for the info. Hope this rumor is true! Wish I could go to more events, but I live in Idaho, so no go for last night. How was it? Any other interesting news? This was the Aulani (sp?) preview right? We are excited for that as our 10 year anniversary is in 2012 6-9 months after it opens. Wonder if we'll be able to get into it....

Yes, I totally agree, it needs to be announced now, or very soon. We have a hotel, airline tickets, transportation, etc... and not having tickets to the event yet is crazy! At least they realized the Expo next year will be high demand (b/c they pulled off such an awesome one last year -- do you think Johnny Depp will be back as Captain Jack?). We have loved all the D23 things we've done and look forward to Destination D at Disneyland Hotel in September!
