When will 2008 points charts come out?

It is less than 4 weeks before we can make our January 2008 reservation...will the 2008 points charts be available by then? (I'm guessing they'd have to be.......)

They came with the giclee print (assuming you are a member). For January, they would be the same as 2007 for DVC resorts.

I received my 2007/2008 points chart last Nov. Chase your guide for the latest charts. The member site still doesn't have the 2008 chart, but the points required for the destinations aren't different from 2007.

I only see 2007 for everything but BCV

Download my free DVC-Chart program. See link below. It has DVC-point charts for the current 7-DVC resorts through the year 2054.

Originally developed in 2001, the algorithm I use has correctly matched the Disney charts when they published them over the the last several years.

Basically DVC point charts change only around the Thanksgiving and Easter time periods. All other times are constant and do not change from year to year. My algorithm calculates the correct Thanksgiving and Easter timeframes and adjusts the point charts appropriately for those time periods.

If you have one, you have all the information you need for the on-site resorts. The seasons are the same for all on-site resorts.

I second Caskbill's recommendation- That DVC planner is GREAT!
I see what you mean Dr. P- the only thing that has changed is the season- so you can look at the season on BCV chart and look at the points for your season on any of the other charts even if it says- 2007.- So all of the points per night in each season stayed the same- I guess.

The five WDW DVC resorts all share the same Disney Seasons.

Additionally, BCV, VWL, and BWV preferred all share the exact same point structure.

OKW, SSR and BWV standard are all unique point structures.

DVC has not yet released any charts for AKV but they most likely will share the same Disney seasons, but probably have different point structures from the current resorts.

The points for certain dates will be different, ie: points needed around Easter will be the same but dates are different.
