When & where to collect Fantasmic premium view tickets

Hi,

I want to book the Fantasmic premium view dessert buffet (second performance) for our first evening (monday, June 18). We will arrive around 6pm and we have tickets for that evening (park hoppers). I'm only wondering where I have to pick up the tickets and till when that is possible.

Also, am I correct that I have to call 30 days before June 18 (= May 17) at 8am (luckily for me that is 5pm for me so I don't have to get up early for that one )

Hi ReLo,

You call a month before the show, so for June 18, you would call May 18.

To pick up the tickets you go to the Guest Services window, located outside the Disneyland Park, and to the left of the entrance as you face it. You will need to show the credit card used to buy the tickets and I think ID. You can go there the day of the show and pick up the tickets anytime before they close. I THINK they close at 5pm (17:00), so you will need to get there before that time.

Once you have your tickets you will need to check in at the viewing area. The podium starts taking check-ins at 8pm. The podium will be located by the food cart that is between the Haunted Mansion and the Rivers of America (go past the HM entrance - you'll see it). They will start setting up the podium probably around 7:30 or so, not too long before check-in. You are assigned seating according to order of checking in. Some people will arrive early and wait, and some will arrive just before 8pm.

They will start seating you at 8:30 so you can enjoy your boxed dessert and refreshments before the show starts.

Although it says 30 days, it should say a month (unless something has changed).

So, for 18 June, call 18 May. For 18 July, call 18 June.

And sorry, I was wrong about ticket pickup. I misunderstood your question. I was referring to where you go to get seating assignments.

Thanks for answering my questions.

We will arrive from Morro Bay that day (via Venice & Hollywood) and don't know exactly when we will be in Anaheim. So I think that I stick to my original plan. Do some attractions & the fireworks in DL the first night. On the 2nd day DL (we have a park hopper with 1 magic morning) & Fantasmic (2nd performance); only disadvantage could be that it is Grad night that day. Our 3rd day would be California Adventure (blackout day for Southern California annual passports) and WoC (with a dining package).

Used to be only City Hall and unless they changes the process AGAIN in the last three months...you can now pick up your tickets at City Hall, Guests Services, any ticket booth, and the front desk of the Resort Hotels. I picked up mine at check in at the GCH last stay.

City Hall is simply "Guest Services." I've picked them up at Guest Services outside the park, and at Guest Service in DCA (much shorter lines.) I have picked them up at ticket booths (as recently as New Years Eve.) I simply look for the shortest line, whether ticket booth or Guest Services.

No we are staying in a walking distance off site hotel, couldn't fit an onsite hotel in the budget of our 2.5 week South-West trip

If I can pick up the tickets in City Hall, than Fantasmic on the first night is still possible. What do you recommend? Fantasmic (2nd performance) on the first evening (no grad night, but maybe not so relaxed as we probably will arrive around 6pm) or the second night (grad night and after a long day of visiting DL). Both days are not a blackout date for annual passports.

Because the crowds will probably be greater with the Grads in the park on the second night, that is when you should view it. That way you are guaranteed seating and watching a show, instead of dealing with the larger crowds throughout the park.

We just bought them. Called April 4th for May 4th performance. Was told to pick them up at City Hall and bring both photo ID and the CC used to purchase them. CM told me I cannot pick them up at the Disneyland Hotel, where we are staying.

My understanding from others on these boards is that you can only pick them up at your disney hotel IF you have disney vacation planning book them for you. I haven't used them.

blackjackdelta on these boards has used disney vacation planning to book F! for him and he has been able to pick them up at the onsite hotels.
