Thanks to everyone who is joining in, by the way! I am so glad everyone is enjoying DH's amazing pictures! I especially love the early morning ones...

I swear, one day I'll drag my butt out of bed to join him...

Joining in! this is making me so excited!!!!

Thanks so much for sharing, both of you!

The pictures are breathtaking!

Wow! Breathtaking pictures! That first one in your post of just pics has such a beautiful stillness. Just gorgeous! :cloud9:

How sweet that both of you had some lovely little surprises for eachother for your anniversary! That meal at CG looks amazing! I agree about the fireworks from the CR - pretty, but not as it was intended since the castle is not framed. What a wonderful day! :goodvibes

Fantastic TR and Pics! Im so glad to have jumped in early, and look forward to more posts!

Thanks so much for sharing such great info :goodvibes

WOW! Just breathtaking and making me all the more excited for our trip in November. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank you to everyone for all the compliments!! I'm really glad you're enjoying the TR and the Photos!! More soon :goodvibes

Great trip report! Ive never stayed at the Poly but DH and I want to very badly! I think the food pics look fantastic! Keep em coming! Happy anniversary.

I am speechless at your pictures! They are amazing! :worship:

I could not wait to get home from work today. I quickly cooked dinner, fed the kiddo, got lunches ready for tomorrow and then ran to my lap top to read you TR.

I am so jealous that you actually got to meet and talk to a Poly FAQ board member! I hope I can meet one of the Poly FAQ lovers in person one day while visiting the Poly :rolleyes1 I am not shocked that Tinkerbellie16 and you discussed adult beverages! She is our Poly cocktail expert :thumbsup2

We like to tour just like you guys! We take our time and enjoy the resort:cloud9: I also wake up really early and stroll around the Poly. It is the most amazing time to experience the resort. You feel like you are the only one around for miles. While we were there last October they had the castle icicle lights lit up in the wee hours of the morning. We had been the December before and experienced them but it was cool to get to see them again.

The food porn is fabulous! I am looking forward to Mrs. B's detailed food descriptions popcorn:: The anniversary cake looked beautiful.

It sounds so far like you had a lovely anniversary celebration :goodvibes The flowers and bracelet were beautiful! I might have to steer my DH to this TR to get some ideas for our next trip! ;)

I can't wait to read more popcorn::

I just have to say that I'm going to have to go to Narcoosee's and California Grill next trip! That food looks fantastic!

And I'm loving the pics! We always are up by 5:30 at WDW, but we like to get to the parks early to tour before it gets too hot with the little ones, so I don't get much time to breathe in the mornings. One of these days, we may have to just pull a morning to relax and enjoy the sunrise.

Can't wait for more!

I love your trip report! The pictures are so awesome. Have you taken photography classes?

The coverup you bought Mrs. B looks so nice. I may have to look for one when I am there in Dec.

I can't wait to read the food reviews. I love dining at Disney.

Following your TR and enjoying every detail of it :thumbsup2

I'm fairly new to DIS and like to lurk around other people's TRs for all kinds of info and tips let alone the entertainment. I love how you articulate each experience in such that I feel I'm there too! We have a trip this coming December and planning every miniscule part of it. It's nice to read and take in all the visuals as much as I can-leaving me SUPER EXCITED  :cool1: :cheer2:

Btw, I love the precise, crisp photos you've taken. Really good eye for all those evening shots. I'm in search of a camera to surprise DH as a Christmas present -possibly send it wrapped to the hotel so it'll be there when we arrive. I was wondering which kind you're using? TIA

I'll continue to lurk on your page....popcorn::

I did take photography courses in high school (I'm 35 now), and I actually failed them :rotfl:. It seems I couldn't focus to save myself :confused3.

I'm using a Canon S-90, which is an older model that I actually just bought before this trip after returning a newer model (the SD-1400IS) that really didn't live up to the reviews it got.

The S-90 has everything from full auto mode to almost completely manual mode and a lot of in-between. It also has a pretty good lens and a larger sensor, so it's great for someone who wants a little more than just "point and shoot" which is very handy for getting nighttime photos. Well, that and a pocket sized tripod. I did do a good bit of reading into the different settings on the camera and how to make it do what I want in the week before we left.

Thank you so much for reading and enjoying. I hope to post more tonight!

Loving your TR so far!! :thumbsup2 Its getting me very excited for our first Poly trip in 35 days!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Happy belated anniversary and can't wait to read more!popcorn::

Joining in! I love your leisurely pace! I'm trying to do more of that as we go more trips :).
