Couple of Q's about when we arrive...

We're traveling by Eurostar, booked direct so have Disney Express.
Is it easy to just leave things upstairs in the train station with disney express or would it be easier to take them to Sequoia Lodge ourselves?
How bad does the express queue get?

Does anyone know which carriage is closest to Disney express exit from the station? - our seats are in carriage 2.

How easy is it to find the way between the station, disney village, disney park and sequoia lodge?
Are they well signposted?
Is it easiest the first time we go to Sequoia Lodge to walk or get the bus when we're not sure which way?
After that we would plan to walk, weather allowing :rotfl2:

Does anyone know which order the bus goes to the hotels in?

:rotfl2: Had more q's than I thought, thanks for all help though!

Hi there,

Ill try to awnser the questions I can:

I would advice you to take all things to Sequoia Lodge.
When you come early in the morning and don't have the room avail.
you can place all the items (free) with the lag. handling service.
You can also already check-in.

The train stops in the middle of the resort.
When you go out of the station you will be at the centre hub.
You can walk to Sequoia Lodge through Disney Village (approx 10 min)
But, if you have stuff with you I would advice to use the (free) shuttle bus
its located at the side of the station.

When you arrive there are many signs and if you have any question
just ask one of the cast members.

have a great time at Disney Land Resort Paris

When we travelled last March, we also had Disney Express, plus we were right at the front of the train like you too! We checked in to our hotel at London Waterloo and were given out park tickets and some tags for our luggage. When we got off the Eurostar we dashed up the escalators and only one person was in front of us ready to hand their luggage over! We then found the parks right outside the station and we were in there, grabbed fast passes for BTM and found ourselves in Phantom Manor at 1.45pm!!!! One of my best memories is running to the entrance, tickets in hand, like a couple of kids! :rotfl:

You can then go back to your hotel at your leisure, collect your luggage from the luggage room and go straight to your room.

Coming home you leave your luggage with them in the morning, after you have checked out, then pick it up just before you check in for the Eurostar. I don't recall much of a queue and it gave us almost another full day in the park!

It was all painless and I would definitely do it again, unfortunately this time we are not staying at a Disney Hotel, so we can't :sad2:

Having done it both ways I would DEFINITELY advise using Disney Express. We didn't run (not as fit as Kevankiki!) but the queue of people to use the Express service was tiny and we were walking in the Park at 1.45.

As you walk out of the train station and turn to your right - oh my gosh - there is the Disney Village right in front of you and you're there! On your left is the place from which the buses go, but if I were you (having handed in your bags to Disney Express) I wouldn't bother with the buses at all and would prefer to walk at the end of the day through to the end of Disney Village and then a further 5 minutes to SL, following the signposts as you go (past Hotel New York and over the bridge). It is a lovely walk, lots of people out and about, some going back to hotels, some on their way back into the Village to dine or shop, even some healthy bods jogging. You also get to walk next the lake, with a lovely view back into the Village....and ooooh it's lovely.

Definately use the Disney Express Service Raci - it is superb I honestly couldn't fault it, and we didn't rush up to the Express desk, both times we've been on our way within 1/2hour and we were delayed last time, whilst the CM's arranged temp. passes for us (they weren't on the train).

Walk through the Village back to the hotel, you'll love it and it's probably quicker than waiting for the shuttle - It was when we were at the NPB.

On return we've left the parks around 5.00 - 5.30 to give us plenty of time to collect luggage from the Express desk, but hen we've ended up sat on the train for an hour :confused3

 You must be getting very excited now:banana:

:thumbsup2 Thanks everyone! We'll definatly make the most of express service then!

:) I was hoping carriage 2 would be at the front, gives us a headstart! :thumbsup2

;) Signposts sound great, I'm not the best at directions :rotfl2: so the easier the better!

After all the months of waiting I can't believe its so close! But now I'm begining to feel unorganised even though I've done so much.
The friends we're travelling seem to be taking it in their stride but me and my daughter are soooooooo excited! :yay: :yay:

Did anyone know what order the buses go to which hotels? :)

Each onsite hotel has it's own bus, though I think that the New York and Sequoia Lodge might share a bus - can't remember. Here is a layout of the bus station :)

As others have said, the walk is nicer than taking the bus. And bear in mind that the walk to the bus is nearly as long as walking through the Village!

Snap Bexx :)

Seeing the little map of the station :thumbsup2

Am I right in thinking the bus stop for My Travel Explorers is on the opposite side of the road to the Disney hotels stop ?

Thanks both of you! I thought it was just a yellow bus that went to all the disney hotels. I didn't realise there was more than one :)

We do plan on walking as much as poss, unless its tipping down with rain. But then if everyone has the sme idea :rotfl2: The Q would be so long I guess it would defeat the point.

Can you only use Disney Express if you book Eurostar through Disney ? We have booked the Disneyland Hotel with Disney but booked Eurostar direct as it saved over £220 each !!

When we asked Eurostar if we could pay extra for the Disney Express they told us it was not a service they offered.
