Just curious when/which park you visited first? I'll go first!

First trip March 19, 1967, Disneyland! It was the second day POTC was open and my Mary Poppins hat flew off during the first "water fall". They were filming people on the ride and when we watched the Wonderful World of Disney a couple of months later, we saw ourselves and my lost hat.

We ate Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast, saw Monsantos "House of the future", rode the Matterhorn, autopia, submarines, Astro orbiters and saw a show put on with Indians doing native dances and "America the Beautiful"! We did more, of course, Fantasyland and saw Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.

I remember going into a boat in Fantasyland and buying tuna sandwhiches for lunch, then eating them by the big skleton head/waterfall thing?

My addiction to Disney was born and we went several times growing up after that first trip. Walt Disney had just passed away 3 months prior and I remember being shocked that there still WAS a Disneyland! I figured it was closed when he died.

I had always had the dream to go to WDW and wanted to stay in the Contemporary. I finally got to WDW in 2008 and will stay at BLT soon!! Close anyway.;)

So, share your memories with me please!!:goodvibes

first trip for me was summer of 1978 (July, I think) and we went to Disney World. I was 7 years old and it was my first "real" vacation and my first time on an airplane. I was told that my favorite part of the trip was swimming in the hotel pool but, honestly I don't remember.

DH's first trip was in summer of 1972, he was 2 years old and he went to Disney World. He went to Disney World either every year or every other year(sometimes they skipped a year) after that. His father was an absolute Disney fanatic.

DD13 first trip was April 1997, she was 6 months old and went to Disney World. She has been almost every year since.

DS9 first trip early 2002 (don't remember the month ) he was 7 or 8 months old and went to Disney World. He has been almost every year since then.

My first trip was in 2007. I can't remember how old I was it was so long ago!

My first trip was in 1996, when I was 26 years old. My now husband proposed at V&A's on the last night of the trip. Of course, now we're both hooked on Disney.

DH's first trip was in 1973. He was 5.

My daughters both went when they were 4 - 5 months old. Those were really trips for us, and we knew it.

Mine was 1981 to WDW, or should I say MK since that's all there was back then. DS went for the first time just before he turned 2 and knew something magical was going on before we even walked through the gates of the MK:wizard:. DD was only 4 months old and obviously was just along for the ride; went back when she was 2 1/2 and fell in love :cheer2:

My first visit to Disneyland was in 1955--two weeks after it opened!

I was too young to remember much. I do recall being afraid I would fall off of the parking lot tram (seats faced outward) and my father holding me and reassuring me that I would be fine. And I remember waiting--and waiting--and waiting--while my cousin (who was 12 and "too old for kid's stuff) road Autopia over--and over--and over! Actually, I didn't remember what he rode, just that it took forever! *LOL*

First visit to WDW was in 1981. Magic Kingdom was the only park open (EPCOT was a work in progress), so that's where I spent most of my time. Second visit to WDW was in 2003--22 years after the first visit!

I would have sworn that I was 7 and it was 1980, but I swear we went to Epcot. Maybe I was 9 in 1982...

I went back several times in junior high and high school, but I haven't been back since 1990. I am thrilled that I will be making it in 2010.

My first visit was in 1990..and I was 10. I got to plan everything. I remember checking out books from the library and made the whole itinerary for each day. We also went to that U park too since it opened earlier that year.

After that we went every 3 years until 2000. Then my family didn't go for ahwile. Now we live close the WDW...so we go very often. DD was 2 1/2 for her 1st trip and DS was only 6 months.

I fell in love with Disney all over again when I took my children! Nothing like seeing the magic through their eyes!

My first trip was in June of 1984, when I was 9. We got a 3 day pass for WDW. The first day was at MK and I think we rode the train first. I remember loving Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain.

We split our Disney days with trips to other attractions (Sea World, Cypress Gardens, Silver Springs, Kennedy Space Center, Six Flags Wax Museum).

At Epcot, I remember that the Living Seas and Morocco were under construction. I also remember the cool computers where you could look up information and even talk to a live person. I also remember eating at the Odyssey.

Didn't go back again until I was 22.

my parents took me when i was 2. 1978. i don't remember that trip, but i do remember the others from when i was a young child....back when it was only MK and then later epcot.

i'm starting my son younger than me...he went at 9 months and will be 20 months for this trip. beyond excited to carry on the tradition!

My first trip was to Disneyland for my 8th birthday. I remember most of it. :goodvibes

My parents bought 4 hostess cupcakes, one for each of us (me, my parents and my bf at the time) and put two candles in each cupcake for my "birthday cake".

I was one of the best vacations of my childhood. I'm soo glad my kids will finally get the Disney expirience in a few weeks.

Since it's a surprise, I only have to keep my mouth shut for 16 more days.:lmao:

My first trip was the year the Disney World park opened and the year I was born, 1971! I of course don't remember anything. But we do have some great pics of little me at the parade and the Dumbo ride! :)

My parents took my brother and myself when I was 10, in 1984. I've loved in ever since!!! So fun!

I'm not sure how old I was, but I do remember that it wa WDW's 15'th aniversary due to the parade. I also remember that was had to grow and harvet 2 fields of cucumbers for Cates pickles that summer in order to get the money to go on the trip. I remember Figment from Epcot and having my younger sister sit in my lap during Space Mountian.

I went to Disney World in 1975 for my honeymoon! Then didn't come back til 1990 after college graduation as a gft from my Dad. Next trip was 2002 and since that time I've been 23 times plus once to DL!

We went to WDW in summer 1992 for our honeymoon :cloud9:. We were on a Florida vacation by rental car with prebooked hotels and had just two full days for WDW, so we visited MK and Epcot, it was crowded, so hot and overwhelming - I loved it from the first moment.

I went to WDW for the first time somewhere between 5 & 8 in the early 80's and what I remember most is dining with the characters and riding the sky tram thing, don't remember what it was called.

DH went for the first time when he was 3 and doesn't remember anything.

I wanted to go for our honeymoon and he thought I was absolutely insane, so we didn't go.

We took DD for the first time in 2008 for her 6th birthday and she fell in love......so did DH and he can't believe he thought it was only for kids and wishes now that we would have gone for our honeymoon!!!

Our Godchild went for the first time when he was 2 and absolutely fell in love, especially with Pluto!!!

Now we are all hooked and can't wait until our next trip!!!!!!!! This is the first trip that our Godchild is coming with us so we'll all be together (myself, DH, DD, DGC, DGC's parents and brother...his parents are also our DD's Godparents...it is going to be a special trip).........we can't wait, it's all any of us talk about!!!

We all absolutely love the cruise too, we went in 2007 and DGC's family (his Mom is my first cousin and we grew up very close and are more like sisters...in fact my first trip to WDW in my previous post was with her and it was her first time too) went this year, we are all going back together in 2012!!! Can't wait for that either, especially since it will be on the new boat and it will have the water slide and Castaway Cay is supposed to have a waterpark too!!!

My first trip was in September 2000. I was 20 years old. I went to WDW and stayed off site. The trip was HORRIBLE. It was with my ex-fiance and he is a horrible person. My next trip was June 16, 2003 through June 26, 2003 for my honeymoon and it was amazing!!!!!!!!
