Currently on a six week journey. Spend about half the year doing overnight journeys.

Hmmm...I guess last time was a week ago. We drove up to Oklahoma last Friday for 1 night. We took in a Ringo Starr concert on Friday evening, toured of OU the next morning, and then drove back home in time for dinner on Saturday.

My answer would be July for a family birthday party, unless I am misunderstanding the question

Yesterday flew from Ct to Hawaii

Ok, now I need to ask you something, how long was that flight? And was it direct?

My wife and I have been tossing around going to Oceania, but the flights look brutal (New England to LA, then 19+ hours from LA to Sydney). We've also thought about going to Hawaii first and then cruising to Australia.

It seems hard to believe there are some who have never been away overnight. We do 5 to 6 vacations a year, from a week to 3 weeks. Then I have an annual trip with girlfriends for 3 to 4 nights. Being home for longer than 2 to 3 months would drive me nuts!
