I can think of three times in the past 23 years:

Most recently was about 8 years ago when I was very sick after a surgery. Before that, was 18 years ago when I was up all night in labor with my youngest DS.:goodvibes

Before that was the 1st night I met my DH....we sat all night on his porch talking about anything and everything. :)

I was up all night when I booked my Disney cruise on November 1st, 2006. The dates for the first half of 2008 were released then, and I was so excited that I could not sleep and didn't even try, so I stayed up till 5am PST (8am EST) when I could finally book! I have been waiting for so long to book this cruise!

I do it quite often. I have insomnia so there are some nights when I never fall asleep. Two weeks ago I had one of those nights. And then there are those nights that I am out and having a good time, and before I know it, its time to go to work or start my day. Last time that happened was back in december for our office party.

Several weeks ago we had really bad storms come through.. We weren't hit by the brunt of it but we got alot of rain and wind..

I was up all night.. but I wasn't a Dis'er yet or else I would of stayed here

Last week when my son had a bad case of acid reflux and threw up about once every hour through the night. I did sleep most of the DAY after that though.

Whenever a bad storm comes through here I cannot sleep, I think I have a sort of post traumatic stress disorder from when a tree came through our bedroom during a storm a few years ago.

I can think of a few times in the past few months.

Every night!!! lol...I work 3rd shift....but there are many days when I stay up all day too.

I stay up for 48 hours in a row 2 days a week. I work part time and can't seem to sleep those days but sleep 8 hours straight and then wake up after the 2 days and feel pretty good.

The night my father died, February 1st.

I'm sorry for your loss, shortbun. :grouphug:

I never stay up all night unless I absolutely have to. Last time was about 6 months ago--my mom called me at 7:00 p.m. She'd had a blood test during the day and the hospital called telling her to get down there ASAP for a transfusion--her iron was dangerously low. So, I spent all night in the ER with my mom while she got a blood transfusion. I came home about 5:00 a.m. when they admitted her to the hospital and took a nap for a few hours and went back.

She's fine now--turns out she had a small ulcer that was bleeding and causing the problem. Actually, she felt fine THEN & was complaining all night about being in the ER but I'm glad they caught it.

Friday night. DS was up throwing up until about 6am. I can't sleep during the day so I didn't sleep until last night.

A few weeks ago when my daughter was in the ER all night long...other than that I was up for 11 years all night long when I worked nights LOL 10pm-6am!

I'll break the chain here: It's probably been 30 years for me. Maybe longer. As a teen I used to work overnight a couple of nights a week. When I got off that shift, I was pretty much done with staying up all night.:)

Last Saturday DD was throwing up all night.

October 2005, Mexico, Hurricane Wilma. The hurricane lasted two whole days (it pretty much just stopped over Playa del Carmen). The first night was ok because I thought it would be over by the time we woke up, but it wasn't and they were telling us that the eye hadn't even passed us yet. We waited all day for the eye and it never came. So by the time evening came around, the building was falling apart the roof was leaking and looked like it could cave in at any moment (we were in a big conference center) and we were supposedly still enduring the first half of the storm. So I sat out in the hallway as people kept flocking out from the conference room because the ceiling was starting to crumble in places. You just can't sleep through something like that.

I stay up alot at night when my husband is gone but the last time was the evening he came home:confused3   :rolleyes1
