when using the dp on restaurants that require payment in advance

Tell them you're on the dining plan. They'll take a credit card number just in case you cancel, but won't charge it.

CRT does require advance payment. We told them we were going on the DDP and they DID bill the credit card. I think it's for the better because I don't think it is worth using 2 TS credits for...

When we went in the fall they took my credit card to hold the ressie. They DID NOT charge it. When we got there we told them we were on the dining plan. No problem. They take your card # just in case you don't show up, if you are a no-show, then it will be charged.

Last June we did the dining plan and made ressie's at the castle. They took the credit card # and did charge us. When I called and told them we had the dp they said they would credit our account, and they never did. Well, when dinner was done they told us we had never paid for it, and wanted a second payment. Ughhh. First she told us that we would have to call our credit card company when we got home. Oh no....i was not leaving. Took us 45 min and 2 managers later to figure it out. They had never credited the account, they just put it through like we had cancelled payment. They were not friendly at all....definitely not very disney-like!

Yes that was what happened for Storybook dining for me
