When u have a spending limit, do u take the "tax" into account

I include tax after all you have to pay it.

I include the tax also, especially since I live in a high tax area.

I don't but I live in tax free NH so it doesn't come up much.

I don't count tax. But I don't really have a strict budget either. I don't make a point to keep my girls gift monetarily equal. Their wants are so different. I do try to keep the number of gifts fairly equal as we take turns opening gifts and it's nicer that way then to have one person left with 10 gifts and the other child is done.
