Hi I am planning a trip to Disney (all adults) for either february of 2006 or July of 2006. Can some people fill me in on the differences between the weather and crowds from July compared to February. Right now we are leaning towards July because we are traveling with school teachers we need to go when the kids are out.

Should I be wary of July because of the heat and crowds, however we were there a few weeks ago and I can't imagine July being much worse?

Thanks

We went in April and Dec. of 04. We went on our honeymoon in April and didn't know what to expect. Needless to say we went the week of Easter. It was busy but dooable. I can only imagine that if you go in July, that it might be busy right around the week of and after the 4th. If it was me, I would pick Feb. Cooler weather and it might be less crowded. Right now I have planned for Jan of 07. December is great, but the Christmas parties can get busy.

The big difference would definitely be the heat -- I'd much rather put up with crowds in comfortable weather! So much harder to wait in line when you are positively melting.

If you can go in Feb., GO! We have been in June and I imagine the heat must be worse in July. My first trip to Disney (15 years ago and before having children) was in March. The weather was great and the crowds were low. I wish that I could go in February or March, but I'll just have to wait until my kids graduate from high school. Until then, it looks like it will have to be summer, Easter, or Christmas breaks for us.

I'm assuming your going President's Day week. That being the case the crowds will be just as busy as in July. February can be iffy weather wise. We went in Feb. 2003 and didn't get to swim. It was pretty much in the upper 60's, but nice and sunny. It was really perfect park touring weather. I'd go for February, just because 95-100 is really too hot for me.

I would do February if you can. July is so hot and crowded! We were in WDW at the end of February and we waited in few lines at all. Yes, it was cool in the morning and evening, but I'll take that over sweating out the heat of the summer.
