When to travel

We are currently planning our 2005 trip to Disney world.

Split between when to go April, October or Spend Christmas here.

Can anyone advise when best to go we have two children who will be 5 and 4 2005.

My vote is for April. THe weather is in the 80's-90's and crowds are managable if you go toward the end of the month.

Another vote for late April. Easter is early next year so no
conflict there. Christmas was fun but the crowds were
horrendous-not fun for little ones. October isn't bad but could
be more rainy than April-although I've had wonderful October
vacations. I guess I vote against Christmas, that's all.

Those times are all good. If "Christmas" could mean two or three weeks prior to the actual holiday, that would be my pick.

we have been in late october (going to universal last week of oct this year) and we really enjoy it, have never been in dec or april so I can't give you an answer about those months.

We have been in both April and October. The weather was nice for both. If you went in October or December you could go to the Halloween Party or the Christmas Party. When we went in October our check-in date was the end of September, which was the end of value season. We saved a couple hundred dollars by checking in a couple of days early.

I went at the end of March, early April and it was great. Perfect weather, aside from the freak rain but it was beautiful. I really like the first of January. Peak season ends on the 2nd and not to many people. The weather is great, a little chilly in the mornings and evenings but not to bad, occasionally very warm. It really is my favorite time. And the Christmas decor is down but you can buy it all on clearance!!!!
