When to tell our kids about the trip

We have a 2 1/2 year old and a 5 1/2 year old. This will be their first trip to Disney World. My husband doesn't want to tell them about the trip. Just put them on the plane and not tell them where we are going. When do you tell your kids? I don't think I can wait two months to tell them.

I know that I couldn't but it would be so great to try. Have you watched any of the videos from youtube where parents surprise their children? Some of them are great. I have to agree with your DH, seeing their little faces when they realize what is going on would be priceless.
