When to schedule my spa treatment on 3-day

I'm perplexed. We've cruised DCL before, but this will be our first 3-day, so I'm not used to not having a day at sea. I have to be sure and have some spa time, but I don't want to miss anything on shore. We have a dolphin swim in the afternoon on our day in Nassau, and want to have time to go by Del Sol and we have to drop a few quarters into the slots. Of course, we have to spend as much time as possible on shore on our CC day and I have to have my algae detox before our CC day! We have late seating for dinner. I'm thinking, that first thing in the morning on our Nassau day is going to have to be my spa time, then try to go by Del Sol before we hop a cab to the Blue Lagoon ferry terminal, then back to Paradise Island in the afternoon for some slots and then back to the ship in time to dress for dinner. That means we might miss the 6:30 show that day, I think it's the Hercules show on Friday, we missed that show last time. So much to do and so little time! What do ya think, can I fit it all in?

I hadn't thought of that. It seems like it's so busy that day, but now that you mention it, if I booked it after the boat drill, 4:30-5, I could probably make it to the 6:30 show. What a send off, having a body wrap and massage as we sail away! I wonder if you can hear the horn inside the spa?

One of our forum moderators, Barb (aka inkognito) swears by this. She has been on over 36 cruises and this is how her and her husband begin their bon voyage! She said she can hear the ship's horn. Maybe she'll chime in on this discussion.

Yes, Melody, here I am!!
And you can indeed hear the horn, since the spa is all the way forward on deck 9. I just love hearing it while in a semi-conscious state of bliss in the middle of a spa treatment. I book a massage, but hubby books the seaweed wrap/massage and he has plenty of time to make it to the show. We book it for right after the safety drill. We enjoy watching the sailaway, but we like the spa even more. ;)
Nassau morning is also a good time if you have things planned in the afternoon. Our friends that we sailed with last fall did early morning treatments when the spa opened and had plenty of time to spend in town.
