I know, I know, anytime is the right time to go back, but for those of us who are limited in funds, WWYD?
We had a perfect! trip in June. We went with extended family, stayed at BC, on DDP and had a blast. The kids (and I) are dying to go back. DH has finally given in but said 1 more trip in the next 5 years. He is letting us pick when. Should we return now, while the boys are still in love with the magic and want to be with ol' Mom and Dad :lmao: Or should we wait a few years? If we go back now we would do the cabins at FW but would not do the DDP. If we wait we would do another Deluxe trip.
Any opinions from those with tween kids? TIA

UNBELIEVABLE UPDATE GOT THE CALL THIS MORNING!!

We have been planning a surprise vacation for DIL's 50th anniversary. DH's sister finally asked them where they would like to go and they (love them as I do, they are not really hands on GP's, never asked to vacation with us) said Disney Cruise with the whole family!!
Looks like we have the decision made for us. :woohoo: So I guess I will now be planning a cruise for 16. (and maybe a little trip over to DW for us.) Any advice?

How old are your kids?
As much as I love Disney we do get a "been there, done that" feeling if we go too often. I like to wait until there are new things to do and see along with the old favorites. It is also fun to go at different times of the year when different things are going on.
The cabins are great, by the way, and there is so much to do at the campground you could spend a lot of time just doing that stuff. I can't imagine that kids would care much about a deluxe vacation:confused3

I always so go as much as you can. A deluxe trip is always nice but DEFINITELY not necessary to get all of the magic. Our last trip we did very inexpensive. We stayed offsite, packed our lunches to the parks and ate breakfast in the room. We had one qs meal per day at the park and that was it. Very inexpensive and at least the kids got a Disney fix in. Maybe squeeze two inexpensive trips in over the next couple years and not do the deluxe. Whatever you choose to do will be the right one. It is never a wrong time to go to DW.

I say strike while the iron is hot...you never know when those tweens will start pretending they don't know you and want to spend every waking moment with their friends !!!!! All too soon, they will say Disney is lame......as unimaginable as that seems!

Consider Sept/Oct....perhaps you could time it for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party AND Free Dining!!!!

This was some great info for us. We were having the same talk. DD is 10 and we want to go next year but then were considering the teen years instead. Think we'll do Disney before she's too old to want to spend time with us.

Anyone have any advice on the Disney cruise? It looks like we will be splitting the cost with DH's sister, so I am trying to make it fun as well as affordable. The kids will range in age from 7 to 20. Will everyone enjoy it?
Thanks again
