When to request adjoining rooms?

Going in 15 days, is it too soon to contact hotel to request adjoining rooms?

If you've booked direct with Disney, you should be fine calling the hotel now to ask for adjoining rooms.

I requested mine when i booked

I requested ours when we booked and were told that it was 'noted' but not guaranteed.

I phoned the hotel direct, and was told to phone back 5 days before we were due to arrive, as this is when their internal booking system is loaded.

I called back and spoke to someone very nice who again said it was not guaranteed but they would try.

It turned out fine and we got connecting rooms.
