When to plan to leave Dolphin...

I don't have much experience with the Disney buses - just a couple of trips to DHS and AK - but we have generally relied on monorails and our feet staying at monorail resorts. We have only taken a bus from the EPCOT area once - to DTD. We will be at the Dolphin as part of a split stay in May. Our son has a 9 a.m. Pirate's League appointment. The Pirate's League is in Adventureland, by POTC. We are supposed to "check in" there at 8:45. Although MK doesn't open until 9 that day, we are supposed to bring our reservation number and will be walked through to get there at 8:45. What time should we plan on leaving the Dolphin? Should we be at the bus stop before 8 (ouch)? We are definitely stuck with the bus, too. We aren't considering taking a taxi, as we won't take our son without a car seat and there is no easy place to stow it at MK, as far as I know. Our Britax would definitely not fit in one of those lockers! EPCOT doesn't have morning EMH that day, so we can't try to run through the park to take the monorail either. I have to respond in part to my own post. Hopefully this will help someone else! I called the Dolphin and they can apparently call us a taxi that will have a carseat. We can specify our child's age/size to get the correct size/model. I can make this arrangement the day before and all should be well. We won't use this everyday to get to MK, but depending on the other responses to my question about when to leave, we may at least use it on our Pirate's League day. I would not want to have to be waiting at the bus stop at 7:30 a.m. to get there an hour later. I assume a taxi will be 20 minutes or less door-to-door, though I would probably want to be picked up by 8:15 just to be safe.

I believe the bus stop at 7:30 would work.

The one thing with a taxi is that they might not be able to drop you off at the entrance to the MK. I think they have to drop you at the TTC and you would have to catch a Monorail from there. Which adds time on to your trip. You could request to get dropped off at the CR and walk on the path to the MK I guess.

I know I might not be helping too much....

No, that is very helpful! I will have them drop us at CR and we can walk over. That is a great idea! Leaving at 815 (or even 8) will be much easier than 730 with a preschooler.
