When to order groceries????

How soon do you all order groceries? I'll be in WDW 30 days from now and I don't want to order too early. When do you all usually order; 2 weeks out or sooner??

We ordered our groceries a month out from Goodings. In fact, if you wait too long during busy times- some of the grocery delivery services stop accepting orders.

If you want a preferred delivery time like a Saturday I would say a few weeks out is plenty. I've used GardenGrocer a number of times and order 2 1/2 to 3 weeks out.

We are going on 6/17 and I put my order in over a week ago, but I am an over planner like that.

We ordered from Garden Grocer about 2 months ago. We knew what we wanted and placed the order because we wanted the 3-5pm delivery time. Since check in is at 4pm, I figure this is the time slot that fills the quickest. It's one less thing we have to worry about in the coming weeks.

Truly depends when you're vacationing. We always go during slower times.....first week of January, early May, and usually mid October.....I usually order about a week before we travel.....however, if we were traveling during busier times I would suggest ordering as early as possible......since I have seen postings on the Garden Grocer website regarding closure of deliveries because all time slots were full. I usually schedule our delivery for the time we are to arrive at MCO.....since I pay by cc when I order I simply tell GG to deliver to bell services.....it works great.....we usually get the text message from GG as we're heading to catch the ME bus to our resort.....telling us our groceries have been delivered. When I check in I simply ask the front desk to have bell services deliver our groceries in about 20 to 30 minutes.......gives us enough time to get to room and check it quickly before the groceries get there.

I think it depends entirely on when you are going. I started making and saving my order a month in advance. I then started noticing that they were full on some days and couldn't take any more requests for deliveries. So because we are going during Memorial Day Weekend I thought I should commit two weeks ahead, so I paid and completed my order.
