When to make a ressie for OKWSin

Since we are not DVC members when would be the best time to make reservations for a 2brm villa at OKW? If we make it in February or March will that be soon enough for a trip planned the first week of Aug. 04? My sister and the travel agent we used before said it should be ok. I am worried that we will have waited to long and it will be alll booked. I realize that DVC members have priority and that there is a 7 month window period for nonmembers. Should we try and book it earlier than the 7 month anyway? Is it possible to do so?
