I'm trying to figure out how many days after the wedding to do it. We're planning on a 3-park shoot.

We're getting married on a Monday and planning to stay until the end of the week.

We're not sure if we're going to be renting the tux or buying.

I was thinking about 2 days after the wedding, because then we'd have a morning to relax before another early morning. But don't know if I should do it the next morning.

Any advice would be great.
Thanks

I've been wondering the same thing for my MK portrait session. I think 2 days after would be the best.

We got married on a Monday and we had our MK/EPCOT pictures done on the Wednesday. I would not have wanted to get up the day after the wedding sooo early after getting up early on the day of the wedding. It was nice to sleep in the frist morning.

It looks like you got some great pictures! Did you have your session at night or in the morning?

Who shot your photos? If you don't mind sharing, how much did it cost you?

We got married on Saturday and had our shoot on Tuesday morning. We were assigned the date/time and didn't have a choice. We rented DH's tux- and kept it from the wedding until after the shoot. (I think it was only $75-$100 more, rather than re-renting the darn thing)

We couldn't have done it the morning after b/c of our farewell brunch, nonetheless I wouldn't have wanted to. It was definitely nice having a couple days between and it also allowed me to go to bed early on Monday since hair/make-up came at 3:30.

kmg148-- the shoots are only done in the morning, but depending on sunrise some shoots are completely in the dark (mine was), some half and half, some in complete daylight.

HTH! :thumbsup2

We did ours the next day at 5am we were exhausted!!!! I would recommend doing it a few days after your wedding.

We are doing ours the morning of our wedding....but I guess that only works if you plan on seeing each other before!

With the time of our ceremony and the fact that I'd have to give up our first look and my getting ready pictures the day of the wedding doesn't work out very well for us. Even though we thought that would be easiest and cheapest. I think I'm going to book it for Wednesday.

Thanks again everyone.

Edit: I actually just sent an email to book for Tuesday. DFi would rather get up early 2 mornings in a row then get to sleep in 1 morning and have to get up early again.

We did get some great photos!! I LOVE them! Like kcampell said the shoot is only done in the morning. We had the 5am time slot. As you can see in the picture in the right the sun was just comming up when we left MK (that was the last picture taken at MK) Our photgrapher was Amy.

OMG, I completely forgot about the tux for our MK photo session!! DUH!! Although we haven't made definite plans yet, I think we'll be renting from Mens Wearhouse...does anyone know how much more they charge to have the tux for the morning?? Kcampbell, where did you rent your tux from??? I think we are going to have to wait until the third day AFTER our wedding to do our MK photo shoot, so how much would that cost us??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! THANKS for bringing up this subject!!! :goodvibes
