When to have a family vacation?

We can go to WDW any time in Sept, Oct, and maybe Dec? We just think Decemeber may be too busy for us to enjoy the trip. Could you swim in Dec. ?How is the weather in Sept? How about Oct? When is it least crowded? We don't celebrate Halloween- when do they start those decorations? We wouldn't mind if there were a few decorations, but don't want everything to be about Halloween!

Early Dec. is nice. Crowds are fairly low and the Christmas activities are very specail. Temps were perfect for us, jeans and t-shirts most days, but a little cool for swimming through DS did a couple times. Later Dec gets very busy.

I go in Sept. It's still hot outside and low crowds because all the kids went back to schoo. Also it's value season in Sept.

Then again I am southern anything below 70 degrees is cold to me.

I'd choose October. That's our favorite time to visit. Crowds are low, weather is beautiful - not to hot and humid, and still able to swim .
