This is driving me crazy... We can go anytime during the year 2004 and I can't make up my mind so that I can go ahead and start booking. Is there a website that breaks down the months and gives an average temperature for each? That would be SO helpful. We're looking for fairly warm temps - 80's to low 90's with small chance of rain. Is that possible :)

Try this chart of average temperatures for Anaheim from weather.com. If you want temperatures that warm, you'll need to go in the summer. And the later you go in the summer, the less chance of rain. We usually go in early June, and it's sometimes cloudy and can start to sprinkle a bit, but no torrential downpours like Disney World. :earseek: You won't see anything but sun if you go late June through August.

The weather is actually very pleasant all year, so you may want to look at some other factors such as crowds and ride closures. Avoid holidays if you can, and keep in mind that fall is often the time of year when some rides are shut down for routine maintenance.

We were thinking about going in early June. Is it crowded at that time? Are CA schools still in?

Summer months are nice because of the weather, long hours and most rides will be up and with Fastpass even crwoded days are bearable IMHO.
But...Dec was my favorite. The decorations are awesome and if you stay at the GC its even better. Santa was there every day and even Pluto stopped by one evening it was raining. I loved the parade and the snow after the fireworks made up for occasional rain. Whenever you go it will be great!!

CindyBeth,

Early June is a good time to go in the summer. Most CA schools are still in session, and the heavy summer crowds have not yet hit. It's warm, but not too hot like it can get in July and August.

The only downside is that the park hours can be random because of grad nights. However, since we always have multi-day passes, we just do something else on the nights when the park closes early.

We were at DLR the second week of March...the weather was gorgeous, but a bit cool for swimming (high of mid to high 70s.) I was surprised that there were some families who had taken their kids out of school for the week to visit at that time. Their schools must have had an April spring break, so they must have been surprised to find March spring breakers.

If it were me I'd go in May - after Easter.

A LOT of the E ticket rides are down right now, so I'd say go later rather than sooner.

Also, the park hours are shorter during the less busy times of year, but we got there at 9:15 for a 10 am opening and did the "Unofficial Guide" touring plans, so we were plenty tired and ready to go home by 7 pm. Also, there are always longer hours over the weekends.
