When to go

After having a brilliant first trip to Florida earlier this year we've just started thinking about a return trip next year.
Now my question is when is the best time to go regarding weather & theme park crowds, and it has to be partly in a school holiday to avoid too much time off school.
End of May, half term is out because eldest has exams around that time so we have narrowed it down to last week Aug/first week Sep or last 2 weeks of Oct.
Any help would be appreciated.

We have the same problem. So we have just booked the last two weeks in October as it will be to hot in August.

We have been in October <i>and</i> last week August/first week September and we would definitely choose October for both crowds and weather. In fact October is our favourite time of year to go. We would never go again in summer unless there was no option.

October is a great month to do the parks. You've got the food and wine festival at Epcot and Mickey's Halloween party. The weather in FL during October is normally absolutely beautiful--Florida at its best!
