OK i need your help please. Now i've finished university and have a job we can go to disney at any time of the year. Has anyone found a particularly good time to go? We've been late June most years, but it's been getting busier and hotter/rainier so we'd like an alternative. If possible we would like a time when there's not much rain and the crowds are low.

Thanks :grouphug:

I have always enjoyed the 1st week of Dec. You get the holiday decorations, cooler weather and less crowds.

We really like our Oct trips.Epcot during the week is a must with the F&W on weekends are crasy but other then that it's great.

We also like June right after School ends for DD

We really enjoyed late January. We were there for a performance that my son and his school dance group did and though it was very cool, we like the fact that the crowds were smaller. It is always busy, but nowhere near what it is at other popular times of the year. The cooler weather also makes it easier to wait in those lines.

If school breaks are not an issue, the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas are some of the best. Cool weather, small crowds and everthing is decorated for Christmas. :thumbsup2

We like to go late Feb. or early March. We need to escape from the cold Boston weather. The weather is unpredictable but much better than at home. The crowds are small and we love it

We've been every month, multiple times. All have their merits, however, we enjoy early December and early October the best.

I voted for November even though I've never been. I did notice that many Disers love this time of year for the combination of lower crowds and great temps, sounds like a winner to me!

Just avoid Thanksgiving week and you should be fine.

I voted for early May. Rainy season has not yet begun and the spring break crowds are gone. The weather is plenty warm enough to swim, but the humidity is not overwhelming.

If warm weather is not a requirement, I would go with early December, early November, or late Jan/early Feb.

September is low crowds but can be very hot and wet!

In my opinion, nothing beats WDW between Thanksgiving and Christmas... The most magical place on earth, and the most wonderful time of the year! :thumbsup2

There are so many good times to go, but I voted for January. That is always low crowds. The weather can be iffy tho. Sept is also low crowds and better weather but it is hurricane season.

Thanks so much for all your votes. This is the first poll i've ever done and i'm very glad i did! :sunny:
I know i'll want to book as soon as we get back from Disneyland Paris on friday- it's those disney blues! Have to earn some more money first :surfweb:

Another vote for October. Good balance of low crowds and nice weather.

I voted for September. In the past, September has been pretty slow when we were there. Also, the first week in December. But you never know, things change very quickly there. Everyone kinda seems to catch on.

I was interested in this too, i had heard that feb was a good time to go crowd wise. Hopefully joining this forum will give me much more insight into everything. Ahh it would be nice to be free of school holidays- congrats on finishing uni and getting a job so quickly! :wizard:
