When to go in February 2007?

I need some help. This is my 13th trip to WDW and we've been going to WDW in Feb for a few years now. It USED to be that the week before President's day was quiet but the word is out and this past trip 2/10-19 was about as busy as the 4th of July so now I need to find another week. I LOVE to go in Feb because I dislike the humidity and heat and crowds but picking which week to go has become a chore. Feb has minefields in The Daytona 500, Presidents week, and various Dance/Cheerleading competitions. I think March would be nice too but I keep reading about Spring break crowds and some Canadian vacation week but dates are never given.

If anyone out there can report on special events with dates to avoid in Feb & March 2007 that would be a great help. I hope to reserve my dates in the next few days.

We've gone the 1st week of FEB twice and have had no issues with crowds at all both times. We're planning to go that same week again in 2007!

Some friends have gone during Mardi Gras week and said it was pretty crowded then...Mardi Gras is FEB 20th in 2007.

Thanks 2poohbears, I'll keep the first week in mind. Judging by the lack of response it looks like Feb. & March aren't that popular after all.

We did the first week of Feb instead of Presidents week this past year due to a family commitment in FL. While the crowds were much smaller, the hours were more limited and there was a lot of "maintance" going on all over to prepare for the influx of people.

We've always gone in early Feb (sometimes starting in late Jan) and have never run into huge crowds.

Thank you for your input. After reading your comments, which confirm what I had guessed, I think that late Jan early Feb will be the way to go for 2007
