The only time DH, DD, and I have gone is in the spring, either March or April. I've LOVED going in April because the weather is nice, not too hot but warm enough to relax comfortably by the pool. Also, the crowds were never too bad at that time of year. So suffice it to say, I'm a bit bummed we can't go this April. This year we have a lot going on during the spring and have decided to go in the fall. When is the best time to go? Preferrably when the weather is comparable to April's weather, if that's possible? We've gone to Orlando (Seaworld) in August and thought we would melt, it was so hot!!! Any advice appreciated! Thanks!

We like end of Sept beginning of Oct. The weather is nice then. It can be hot, but not as bad as summer. We have been in Dec also, but it gets sooooo crowded around Christmas.

I like early October and the week after Thanksgiving. This last October, was warm, but the week after Thanksgiving in 2002 was downright cold after the sun went down.

Oh I would love to go for Christmas, but have heard too many horror stories. A coworker told me that when she went with her toddler, people were JUMPING over kids in strollers because they were too impatient to wait for them to pass! I would go ballistic if anyone ever jumped over my child. :sad2:

I prefer late Sept./early Oct. Most kids are back in school, and while it can be hot, somehow it lacks the intensity of summer. Then again, I am a fan of "so hot it could fry an egg" heat. The fall just seems a little less intense to me. My other Disney philosophy is that sooner or later you'll find a crowd somewhere, so I don't let crowds/lines/etc. bother me too much.

We went the week after Labor Day in September. The crowds were so low that we walked onto every ride.

We have been in late October and the weather was great, not too warm, not too cold. We were able to enjoy the pools and Blizzard Beach. We have been to Mickey's Not So Scarey Halloween Party a few times, the kids love to dress up as their favorite Disney character! We have also been the first week of December, that was wonderful, the parks are decorated for the holidays, and we went to the Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom, it snowed on Main Street!! It was a little cooler then, but it was still very nice!

I'm going to agree with the other posters, late September or early October are great times for good weather and decent crowd levels.. and during October you can catch the NSSHP, which is a lot of fun!

 We went late Oct early Nov. It was great :cool1: We did MNSSSHP and the F&W :woohoo: It was warm enough to swim but it was never too hot. So far it's my favorite time to go.

definitely October - warm but not unbearably hot. And the Food and Wine Festival is taking place at EPCOT while Mickey has a Halloween party.

We're going back this October!!

I like Ocotber, because the F&W Festival is in progress at Epcot, and that is always great. The days are hot but not oppresive, the evenings pleasant. Hurricanes are the only variable, since October is still in the hurricane season.

Early November is good too.

I have also heard that the first 2 weeks in December can be nice, although they can be cooler temperature-wise.

I vote for mid September. We have been there the last two Septembers and the weather was great and virtually no lines. There were even several rides where they just let us stay on!

I think I am leaning towards mid-September. The only thing I'm worried about are hurricanes. But then again, we live in Jacksonville so I am always worried about hurricanes anyways! Thanks for all the suggestions.
