When to go for Bounceback Free Dining??

I am stuck...we are BB to FD Oct 3-11 (regular season) as of now at the POP. I would like to save a little but its only $150 or so for the week before (value season). Will the first week of Oct be any better crowds, weather, etc than the last week of Sept?? I know about the F/W at Epcot. Thank you!!
