I've read all the books but I want to ask for your input on the subject.

The last time I went to DisneyWorld was Mother's Day weekend 1999. It was fabulous! The only line we stood in the whole time we were there was for Dumbo.

Last summer we went to Disneyland over Memorial Day...let's just say crowded wasn't the word for it. We still had an absolutely fabulous time, but I would prefer to do a little less line time on our next trip.

With my job the most time I can take from August - May is 3 days (and I have to stretch the truth to do that!) without getting docked. We do have some long weekends that factor in...so here are my options:

2006:

The second week of October . With a long weekend we could be there either 5 days/6 nights or 5 days/5 nights. That would give us 3 or 4 full days in the parks.

The week after Christmas...we could do 7 days/6 nights then.

2007:

The second week of January...5 days/6 nights.

The third week of February...6 days/6 nights.

The first week of June...7 days/6 nights.

My boys will be 5 and 11 (or 6 and 11, depending on when we go...)

Also, should I go ahead and book a room now? Last time I went I used the Disney Travel folks and did a package. I think I'm going to skip that this time in favor of being able to find bargains. I already know which resort we want to stay at, so at least that isn't an issue!

Thanks for the input!

I would do the week after christmas! Go for a longer stay ;)

We have gone twice in mid-January and it is wonderful! :goodvibes Very few lines and we never waited more than 20 minutes. :teeth: We were also told to avoid the MK on Sundays and Mondays and the slowest day in MK is Wednesday throughout the year. This advice really paid of for us!

I would say january definitely! Christmastime would be BUSY!
