When to get to Disney

For those of you who came from out of town to your Disney wedding, how many days in advance did you get to Disney before your wedding? Our wedding is on a Saturday and we were planning to come on a Thursday evening. What do you all think?

My wedding was on a Thursday and we arrived the Friday before - but we did parks with my in-laws from Sunday-Wednesday. My sister got married on a Monday and they flew in on the Thursday (Friday?) before. @TinkLoverSam help...

I was planning to arrive 2 days then added a day in case of flight delays or missed connection. You need to allow for sorting the license even if you pre-order it online it still needs notarised signatures etc. for International visitors. Plus I wanted a few spa treatments and some time to look in the shops before hand.

I think your timing sounds good. Our wedding was on a monday and we arrived on a friday.

Yes I got in on Thursday for our Monday wedding, we then drove to the courthouse Friday to get our marriage license.

Thank you so much everyone!!! We're actually getting our marriage license this month (insurance purposes), so fortunately that'll be all sorted out a good time beforehand. I feel like I'll have too many jitters to do the parks, but we are doing them after of course
