We are doing 6 days in the parks. MK 1st and last day (with MGM, Epcot, and AK in the middle). We have an 'easy' day our 2nd full day. Should be do FMT the 2nd day with MVMCP that night (could go back to the resort and relax/nap), or should we do the FMT the last morning?

Thanks!

We are saving our FMT for our last day....for 2 reasons:

1. I figured my DD would be SO excited to be at MK, that she would NOT be patient being part of a 'tour' on our 1st day. Knowing her as I do, I know that she will be wanting to go everywhere and see everything, and there won't be anything holding her back! I also know that the 'last' day on a trip can be a little of a letdown, so I plan on the FMT being something fun and exciting to look forward to, to 'boost' us up on our last day!

2. The 2nd reason - our last day (which will be at MK, obviously) is also EMH at MK...so I am expecting bigger crowds. Being on this tour will give us something to do BESIDES waiting in long lines for all of the rides...I'm hoping if we're concentrating on the tour, and what we're doing, my DD won't notice the hordes of people all around us!

Anyway, that's my planning strategy...you can ponder on it, and see if it sheds any light!

I too am also choosing to do the Family Magic Tour on our last full day at WDW. Same reasons as the above poster. By the last day you will have rode everything (hopefully) that you wanted to at least once.

Our last day is also supposed to be crowded (Columbus day w/e) so we planned the FMT that day so that if it gets too crowd crazy we can do the tour & then leave (maybe swim or go to Epcot). I think the last day makes it more special too..something to look forward to all week. :goodvibes

We're doing FMT on our last full day in MK. I figured the first couple days the kids would want to rush to their old favorites and then Toon town so the last day worked out better for us.

Thanks for all the suggestions. DH and I have decided to do it our 2nd day. Our kids tend to wear out as time goes on (especially since 2 have Cerebral Palsy and have problems walking). We figured it would be better to do it at the beginning when they are more likely to still be refreshed! We will have done a full day a MK the first day and will be going to MVMCP that night. So we'll do the tour in the am (will try to get an early CRT that am also) and then head back to the GF for a light lunch and LONG nap before the festivities.

Thanks again for all your input.
